50 hour 1 week AcuYin - 04

In this 50-hrs yin yoga teacher training course, we will show you how to invite the practitioner to become their own healer. You get to know the Yin Yoga Therapy® approach to yoga as a healing method that interweaves the insights and practices of mindfulness, up-to-date anatomical considerations and the ancient Daoist healing wisdom of the acupressure points, meridians & chi flow into an integral meditative and therapeutic yoga practice.

The Yin Yoga Therapy® / Yin Healing method is designed for the practitioner to not only create the space to listen to our bodies closely, but to communicate with our body and innate healing abilities through the activation of meridians and acu points.

Alexandra Denkinger (M.D.Acu) will guide you on how to set your intention and activate our chi flow in the poses. Practice anatomically intelligent sequences with her which are enriched with meaning and purpose, whilst cultivation a free flow of chi through the body.

This comprehensive training covers:

  • Essential Elements of Yin Yoga Therapy®:
Get to know the essential elements of Yin Yoga Therapy® with the focus on activating the chi flow in the body.
  • Acupressure Points:
Learn about acupressure points and meridians, understanding their physical and energetic value.
  • Mindfulness Principles:
Integrate mindfulness principles as the backdrop of the practice.
  • Experience Skillful Sequences:
Experience skillful lead sequences according to the Daoist Elements and Meridians, and the subtle art of creating the ideal environment for a transformational experience of body, mind and soul to take place.
  • Anatomical Considerations:

The aim is to enable teachers to elevate their yin yoga class into offering a self-healing experience, infused with the ancient wisdom of acupuncture points and meridians, providing participants with the knowledge and skills to activate their own healing abilities. Dive into the knowledge behind these traditions, understanding how to create a safe environment for your students, emphasizing breath, insight, and intuition in a Daoist/Zen approach to support alignment with one’s deepest self.

“Feel super blessed to have had this opportunity to do a yin yoga therapy course. To get a deeper understanding from a real acupuncturist (Alex) and understand how the meridian (energy) lines work and how they are connected to the different organs and what are the emotions attached to it was a brilliant bonus! Specially since I’m also into bodywork. This was giving me a deeper insight to the anatomy from oriental medicine perspective. I have learnt and touched concepts that were “beautifully” integrated!

Forever grateful and SO in love with Alex!

She is a extraordinarily wonderful guide and creates such a serene and safe space for all of us to feel our best, gain the most and guiding in the best possible way. By letting things just flow into its rightful space! Truly living the Taoist way of life! I just felt super humbled and extremely grateful to have been a part of this journey!”
