Yin Yoga Therapy

Founder of The Body-Mind-Soul Centre, a Yin Yoga Teacher Training Yoga Alliance school, and creator of Yin Yoga Therapy®, Alexandra is an inspired Body-Mind-Soul Biohacker, dedicated to helping people empower themselves to live an authentic, healthy and balanced life.

A lifelong seeker on a journey of self-discovery, Alexandra has explored healing systems and yoga styles around the world. Over two decades ago, she left her home in Germany to fully immerse herself in Oriental medicine and yoga in India.

After completing her first yoga teacher training in Rishikesh – known as the yoga capital of the world – in 2002, she went on to deepen her skillset further through extensive trainings and became a valuable asset as a lead teacher trainer for several yoga schools in India.

From 2012 onwards, she specialised her teachings on Yin Yoga, a practice that was still relatively unknown at the time, establishing herself as a pioneer in Yin Yoga education and a leading authority for Yin Yoga teacher trainings in India.

In 2019, she founded The Body-Mind-Soul Centre, a yoga school dedicated to sharing the transformative practice of the Yin Yoga Therapy® method and spreading its wisdom worldwide.

In her teachings, Alexandra integrates the ancient healing wisdom of Acupuncture Meridians, Five Elements and Chi flow, creating a deeply holistic and mindful practice. Inspired by Taoist philosophy, her approach emphasizes the power of breath, inner insight, and intuition – guiding students toward a practice and lifestyle aligned with their truest self.

Now living between Bali and Goa, Alexandra facilitates Yin Yoga Therapy® teacher trainings around the world, supported by a team of skilled teachers sharing her love of Yin.

Through her teachings, she passionately shares a path of mindful self-discovery and deep connection with body, mind, and soul. She equips her students with practical tools and inspiration to lead a life of health, vitality, joy, and freedom—one that aligns deeply with their true selves.

Alexandra about herself:

“I see myself as a Body-Mind-Soul bio-hacker, dedicated to inspiring others to take charge of their own well-being and healing. My aim is to provide people with the tools, practices, and guidance they need to thrive. This path found me, and when it did, I recognized it as my calling—and I’m deeply passionate about sharing it with others.

For me healing ourselves is our responsibility and an expression of environmental activism. We are healing the world by healing ourselves. And healing is actually very simple, it is an uttermost natural thing. Of course, not everything can be healed, but most things thought incurable can be. Every organism has a basic instinct to be healed.

Energy flows where attention goes. I believe the good life is a matter of mind and soul and open to everyone. The body never lies. I listen, look and reflect to help you to activate your own healing abilities.

My goal is to empower you to live the most authentic, healthy life possible. A life that feels in alignment with your deepest self. Nothing brings me more joy than watching this happen.

I live and work with dedication, extraordinary intention and the spirit of liberation from convention”
